.:East Coast Expressway (Phase 2)-Realignment, Malaysia
Date : Aug 2005-Sept 2005
Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Summary : A realignment of the East Coast Expressway - Phase 2 project of about 110 km. The realignment started from Ceneh and ended at Bukit Besi. The project deliverables were DTM, DEM, 1 m contour, existing features and orthophoto mosaics.

 

.: East Coast Expressway (Phase 2)-Aerial Survey, Malaysia
Date : Aug 2004-Sept 2004
Location : Terengganu, Malaysia
Summary : Airborne laser topographical & digital imagery survey for a major expressway construction of 200 km length in total. The main expressway is 174 km and it starts from the border of Pahang / Terengganu and at Kg. Gemuruh north of Kuala Terengganu. It also includes a connection alignment of 26 km from Kg. Teris to Federal Route 14. The corridor width is 1000 m. The project deliverables were DTM, DEM, 1 m coutour, existing features and orthophoto mosaics.

Date : August 1997
Location : Penang, Malaysia
Summary : A Static GPS survey was done in one day to establish a network of base stations for the client’s mapping needs.

.: Road Route Survey from Pos Selim to Kampung Raja
Date : November, 1995
Location : Malaysia
Summary :

11 days flying were required to survey a 35 km road corridor from Pos Selim to Kampung Raja. The corridor varied in width from 1000 m to 1500 m. A total of 1386 km of ground profiles were collected. The terrain is very rugged in this area and a ground survey campaign had been underway for a year previous to the DVG survey. The ground survey teams were surveying a corridor only 150 m wide and had been unable to complete the corridor in a year of work.

 
.: East West Highway Project Long Term Slope Stability Study
Date : March 1994
Location : Northern Malaysia
Summary : A total of 27 days of flying were necessary to collect 2904 km to profile data. The centerline length of the road corridor was 115 km. Additionally, over 3200 video images were tied together and features visible within these images were digitized and overlaid terrain model.

.: Genting Highlands Re-Route
Date : August 1993
Location : Pahang , Malaysia
Summary :

This was the first project using the DVG system in Malaysia . A 11.7 km road corridor was surveyed in 9 days. A total of 574.3 km of survey lines were flown.


.: Hills Resorts Road
Date : April 1992 to February 1993
Location : Malaysia
Summary :

A corridor survey of 195 km of proposed road stretching from Genting Highlands through Fraser Hill and north to Cameron Highlands was surveyed by GDS in 1992 and 1993. This survey was carried out using the Airborne Laser Terrain Profiling (ALTP) system, which was a predecessor to the present DVG HELIX system.
